More and more people are ready to build a movement to demand that society’s resources be allocated based on human need. The Vote Cetera campaign is part of this grassroots movement of working-class and young people that are spreading the word that a better system is possible.
The Green Party and Vote Cetera campaign are looking for interns to assist with our campaign in Syracuse. We provide a friendly work environment and plenty of opportunities to take on responsibility and gain practical organizing experience.
Intern dutiescan include, but are not limited to: participating in campaignoutreach efforts, including phoning and door to door; tabling andregistering voters; assisting with fundraising, event planningand communications; assisting with database management and dataentry; website development and maintenance; designing campaignmaterials. Photography and videography skills strongly desirable!
Hoursand start date are flexible. Evening andweekend availability preferred. We ask for a commitment through the end of November 2015.

Applicantsshould be motivated, politically savvy and comfortable workingindependently. Experience with social media, web design, graphics aplus. Activist experience and/or Green Party membership preferred butnot required. Applicants should be familiar with the GreenParty key values. (see gp.org) Internshipsare open to anyone looking to gain experience and be part of ourgrowing party - students (high school, college), workers, communitymembers. Internships are unpaid, but if sanctioned by yourschool, this internship is available for college credit.
